PREP: Graduated from Lake Norman High School in 2024 … has competed in equestrian events since 2010 for Bradshaw Equestrian Center IEA … coached by the trio of Coby Hildebrant, Karen Kelley and Kerin Benson … in 2020-21, as a freshman, she qualified and competed a U.S. National Pony Finals in the medium green ponies … during her sophomore campaign, she qualified and competed in 14 & under children hunters at Washington International, placing fifth overall and eighth in the welcome class, which placed her Top 30 nationally. In that same season, she qualified and competed in 14 & under children hunters at Pennsylvania International, placing ninth in an over fences round and was among Top 20 in the country to qualify … in her junior year, Mason qualified and competed in the 15 & under 3’3” small junior hunters at Pennsylvania National. Also qualified and competed in the 15 & under 3’3” large junior hunters at Pennsylvania National as a junior … capped off her senior season by: qualifying and competing at EJ Haun finals in the 3’6” section, placing among Top 15 in North Carolina qualifiers … qualified and competed in South Carolina Governor’s Cup Finals- 11th-place, among the Top 20 in the South Carolina qualifiers … qualified and competed in the 15 & under 3’3” small junior hunters at Pennsylvania National … qualified and competed in the 15 & under 3’3” large junior hunters at Pennsylvania National … qualified and competed in the 3’6” small junior hunters at The National Horse Show 11th-place in an over fences round, finishing among Top 20 national qualifiers … qualified and competed in the 3’3” Hamel Foundation Memorial Medal Finals at The National Horse show, where she finished on the standby list after the first 100 competitors … qualified and competed in the 3’6” small junior hunters at The Devon Horse Show, which placed her among the Top 15 in nationally to qualify … was the $5,0000 USHJA national hunter derby win at Raleigh.
