PREP: Graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapalama … played for the Warriors’ volleyball teams from 2020-23, including a stint on the jayvee roster in 2020-21 and 2021-22 … made the varsity roster in 2022-23 … coached by Carl Rallita (2020-21), Kanani Romen (2021-22) and Chris Blake (2022-23) … led the Warriors to the HHSAA Division I State Volleyball Championship in 2023.
PERSONAL: Tyra Lum … daughter of Wilette and Kui Lum … born on May 14, 2006 … has three siblings, Shacey Andrade-Teves, Dylan Lum, and Serena Lum … earned the Po’o Kumu Award, given to the student who maintains a 3.5-3.99 GPA, from 2020-24 … named to National Honor Society … served as a member of the Ka Na’i Aupuni (Yearbook Club) and Hui Ola Pono Club … competed on the Club Volleyball circuit from 2015-2024 … a member of the Quicksets Volleyball 12 and under program, coached by Wilette Lum from 2015-18 … played for the Quicksets Volleyball 16 & 18 team, where she was coached by Sheri Sagayaga, from 2018-2024.
