David Pearson, who serves as an assistant coach for the HPU Club Grappling program, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt under Kelly Anundson, with a proven track record in both competition and coaching. He holds an undefeated 7–0 record in grappling super fights and has amassed over 40 tournament victories with a submission rate exceeding 75 percent.
A New Breed Champion and multi-time double gold medalist in Gi and No-Gi divisions, Pearson has earned wins across all levels—from beginner to advanced—including submitting a black belt en route to a tournament title. He is also an IBJJF Worlds competitor, securing a submission victory on that stage.Â
