Jeremy Andrews

On April 13, 2026, High Point University announced the appointment of Jeremy Andrews as the new head coach of the intercollegiate club sports women's flag football program, marking an exciting new chapter for one of the nation's fastest growing competitive sports at a youth, high school, collegiate and Olympic level.

Andrews arrives at HPU with a dynamic blend of football expertise, championship level experience, and a proven record of developing athletes and building high performance cultures. His background includes years of coaching, player development, video strategy and program support at multiple levels of the sport.

Andrews' experience at N.C. Central will translate well into this leadership role. His attention to detail and spirited personality—whether managing a team or designing a practice—will uniquely position him to elevate the HPU women's flag football program from day one.

A two time MBA graduate with concentrations in Sports Administration and Accounting, Andrews brings both strategic insight and operational excellence to the role. His coaching journey includes contributions to championship teams at the high school and collegiate levels, as well as hands on experience in strength and conditioning, scouting, and athlete mentorship. His work has supported programs that achieved conference titles, national recognition, and postseason success.

Andrews was an integral part of the staff at Saint Augustine during its 2010 CIAA Championship and Pioneer Bowl Championship. At N.C. Central, he was a part of the MEAC/SWAC Championship run from 2021-2025.

Andrews' diverse skill set—ranging from coaching and recruiting to video analysis, creative media and player development—gives HPU a modern, forward thinking coach ready to shape a competitive and nationally relevant program. His collaborative leadership style and commitment to excellence align seamlessly with the university's vision for competitive growth and an extraordinary student athlete experience.Â
