High Point University Club Sports

Coach Kevin Haithcock enters his fifth year as Head Coach of the High Point University Club Softball team. With a strong baseball background, he played collegiately at nearby N.C. A&T and has dedicated more than 20 years to umpiring high school softball. 

Each season, Coach Haithcock’s goal is to grow and challenge the program by scheduling competitive matchups against Junior Colleges, Division III programs, and even a recent contest against a Division I opponent. He believes this level of preparation is key to success in conference play. His approach proved effective in the 2023–24 season, as the team finished 13-2 in conference, won a regional championship and advanced to the National Championship game. 

Beyond the wins and accomplishments, Haithcock takes pride in creating meaningful experiences for his players—building moments and memories they will carry with them for a lifetime.
