On December 18, 2025, High Point University’s Intercollegiate Club Sports (ICS) department announced the addition of Lauryn Kahle, ATC, LAT, BS, NREMT, as its new Athletic Trainer. Lauryn brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to athlete readiness, injury treatment, and rehabilitation therapy, ensuring that HPU’s student-athletes will receive exceptional care both in and out of competition.

Kahle’s background as both a student-athlete and trainer at the NCAA Division III level aligns perfectly with the design and mission of the ICS program. Her hands-on experience includes developing training and rehabilitation programs, diagnosing and treating sports-related injuries, and providing emergency medical care for a wide range of athletic teams. She has worked extensively with student athletes across multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, baseball, and lacrosse.

Kahle holds a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She is also a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) and certified in Hazardous Materials Awareness. Her clinical experience includes over 1,000 hours of athletic training rotations and additional physical therapy hours, reinforcing her ability to manage complex injuries and recovery plans.
