HIGH POINT, N.C. – After playing an integral role in the program's record 18-win season, High Point University Club Sports women's hockey sophomore
Georgia Frost earned an individual honor when she was named as a 2025-26 AAU College Hockey First Team All-American.
She becomes the first Panther to receive the distinction in program history and the eighth in the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports program to be selected as an All-American.
Frost was an integral part of Panthers' 2025-26 team that finished with an 18-6-0 overall record. The win total set a single-season program record for the Panthers, who claimed six shut outs along the way.
Frost and her Panther teammates entered the 2025 ACCHL Fall Tournament in Lynchburg, Va., with an 8-2 mark in late November. High Point, facing a four-game in three-day stretch, responded by surrendering just 10 goals and outscored the opposition by a 38-10 margin, claiming the ACCHL Fall Tournament crown.
After adding three wins in February against Virginia Tech, Alabama (twice) and Kennesaw State, High Point focused its attention on defending the ACCHL Tournament Championship on Feb. 21-22. The Panthers delivered wins over Georgetown (10-2) and Virginia Tech (5-4), en route to capturing their third consecutive ACCHL Tournament Championship.
With the league title to their credit, Frost and her teammates earned a bid to the AAU College Hockey National Tournament in Jacksonville, Fla. The sixth-seeded Panthers squared off against Paul Smith's (N.Y.), South Carolina and Syracuse. High Point claimed a 6-5 win over South Carolina, but was eliminated following setbacks to Paul Smith's (N.Y), 7-2, and Syracuse, 3-1.
