HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports program wraps up the final full week of March by taking part in 26 events from March 25th through March 29th.
The following is a breakdown of each team's events during the five-day stretch:
BALLROOM & LATIN DANCING
March 28-29 | at National Competition | Pittsburgh, Pa. | All Day
Looking to bookend March with a series of great outings, the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports ballroom & latin dance team travels to Pittsburgh, Pa., this weekend for National Competition.
The Panthers' will look to duplicate their performance at the Regional Competition in Dunwoody, Ga., which featured 92 collegiate competitors and 10 universities represented. High Point brought home 36 ribbons and left its indelible mark on the Southeastern Dance Championships, earning multiple placements from first to sixth place across multiple divisions.
BASEBALL

The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports baseball team is looking to put the brakes on a six-game losing skid this week with a quartet of games. The Panthers will open play with a clash against New River Community College on Wednesday evening at Williard Stadium. Three days later, High Point will head down I-40 to Raleigh for a three-game series at N.C. State. The Panthers will tangle with N.C. State twice on Saturday afternoon and return to the field on Sunday for a noon start.

The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports esports team begins play in the Big South Conference Championships on Saturday at Radford University. The Panthers will be featured in four brackets, including the Rocket League, League of Legends, Overwatch and Valorant.
High Point earned the second seed in the Overwatch Bracket, where it will face Radford, and was also a No. 2 seed in the Valorant Bracket, which results in a clash with Charleston Southern. Seeded fourth in both the Rocket League and League of Legends brackets, the Panthers will square off against top-seeded Winthrop.
GOLF

Returning to the links for the second time in as many weekends, the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports golf team will look to claim its seventh top five finish of the season in the National Qualifier Tournament in nearby Greensboro at the Grandover Resort.
Last weekend, at the North Carolina Regional Tournament, freshman Abhay Minhas was the top individual performer for the Panthers, finishing tied for 14th with a score of 151 after posting 75 and 76 in consecutive days. Minhas led the way for a Panther unit that was fifth in the tournament with a 770 (+60). Teammates Ayden Delforte (18th), Ryan Frohlich (20th) and Dominic Schutte (20th) were also among the top 20 individual performers.
GYMNASTICS
March 28 | at Flipping Flames Meet | Lynchburg, Va. | All Day
The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports gymnastics team makes its first appearance of the season this weekend in Lynchburg, Va., at the Flipping Flames Meet. The day long event will take place at Liberty University on Saturday, March 28th.
PICKLEBALL

Exactly one month after participating in the National Collegiate Pickleball Association (NCPA) Nationals in Bridgeton, Mo., the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports pickleball team heads to Roanoke, Va., to compete in the ROA College Cup. The all day event marks the return to the court for a Panther squad that came away with two wins on February 28th at the NCPA Nationals. While in Missouri, High Point claimed wins over Kansas and San Diego State before falling in the second round to Florida Atlantic.
SOFTBALL

The No. 1 ranked High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports softball team, an honor they earned by garnering all 100 votes in the recent National Club Softball Association (NCSA) Division II Softball Polls, heads to Charlotte, N.C., for its final non-conference game of the regular season which will come against Johnson & Wales. The Panthers have won four of their last six games, conducting a sweep over Elon (10-2 / 9-1) and taking down Charlotte (8-7) and East Carolina (12-8) at Armstrong Park last weekend. High Point is 15-6-1 overall and 6-0 in the NCSA standings with a key league clash with Wake Forest on April 11th on the horizon.
TENNIS

This weekend marks the final tournament on the schedule for the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports tennis team. The Panthers make a short trek to Greensboro to face UNCG on Saturday afternoon. It marks the second tournament in March for High Point, which traveled to Raleigh for the N.C. State Raleigh Rumbles on March 7th. In that event, High Point came away with a 28-23 win over James Madison 'B' while also facing East Carolina 'A', Charlotte 'A' and William & Mary 'A' at the tournament.
ULTIMATE FRISBEE

The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports ultimate frisbee team is looking to return to the win column this spring at the Needle in a Ho-Stack event in Charlotte, N.C., this weekend. The Panthers will head to the Ramblewood Soccer Complex for their first competition since the Chucktown Throwdown on February 14th. High Point went head-to-head against Tennessee, College of Charleston and the Charleston Chefs in that event.

The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports men's basketball team returns to action after a 22-day hiatus this weekend. The Panthers will head to Tullis Arena in Orangeburg, S.C., to take part in the NCBBA Men's South Atlantic Regional Tournament, which begins play on Saturday at 1 p.m. High Point, seeded fourth overall at the tournament, will face off against fifth-seeded Florida State in the first round on Saturday. A win would move the Panthers to a game with top seeded Charlotte or eighth seed South Carolina at 4 p.m.
The Championship is being held Sunday, March 29th at 1 p.m. Two wins by High Point would pit the Panthers against (2) Florida 'Blue', (3) Claflin, (6) North Carolina or (7) Tennessee in the finals.
MEN'S LACROSSE

Boasting a 4-4 mark on the season, after a recent split in Michigan, the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports men's lacrosse team faces a three-game in five-day stretch. The Panthers begin the week by hosting Wake Forest at Vert Stadium at 7 p.m., before taking to the road to face Davidson (March 28) and Charlotte (March 29). High Point is 2-3 on the road after winning a clash at Central Michigan (March 20) and falling by a 19-6 margin at Grand Valley State last weekend.

The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports men's soccer purple unit heads into the final weekend of March with a pair of road games on its schedule. The Panthers will head to nearby Winston-Salem for a battle with Wake Forest at 7 p.m. on Friday evening before turning around to face East Carolina in Greenville, N.C., on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Panthers are looking to move to .500 on the season and improve on their 1-1-1 road mark.

This weekend marks the final two games on the schedule for the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports men's soccer white team. The Panthers will host South Carolina at Vert Stadium on Friday evening at 7 p.m. before heading to the coast to take on UNC Wilmington in a match on Saturday at 2 p.m. The battle with the Seahawks will take place at the UNC Wilmington Recreation Facility.
MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

The High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports men's volleyball team will have its final tuneup before the National Championships, set for April 1st, this weekend when it heads to Wilmington, N.C. for the UNC Wilmington Tournament on March 28th. It is the first time the Panthers have faced taken the court since the East Regional Championships on March 7th. In that event, held in Lynchburg, Va., High Point emerged with wins over Richmond and Coastal Carolina. The Panthers also faced Elon, Old Dominion and N.C. State 'B' as part of the competition.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE

A series of games with Davidson (March 28) and Wake Forest (March 29) gives the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports women's lacrosse team an opportunity to move over the .500 mark on the season. The Panthers, who are 5-6 overall and 4-1 at home this season, are looking to halt a three-game losing streak in their Senior Day game against Davidson on Saturday, March 28th at Congdon Field. After facing the Wildcats for the first time this season, High Point will face a familiar foe in Wake Forest, which marks the third meeting of the slate. The Panthers took the previous two meetings against Wake Forest by scores of 12-11 and 8-4.
WOMEN'S SOCCER

Winners of their last three straight matches, the High Point University Intercollegiate Club Sports women's soccer team heads to Cullowhee, N.C., for a bout with Western Carolina at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers finished off a perfect 3-0 week last week with two wins over Davidson (4-0 / 6-1) as well as Western Carolina (4-0), moving their record to 8-6-3 overall.
